Some just know that they are Dwarven. For them we have assembled a group for roleplaying as Dwarves within many varied contexts. Size, color, gender, nor any other thing matters, only that you have the heart of a Dwarf.

Torst Helvellyn is a guild within the Hynafol LARP. With a strong Dwarven theme we are welcoming to all who share a love fighting, drinking, and Dwarven fuckery.

Hynafol is an immersive, medieval fantasy LARP experience with a variety of events: The Grand Gathering, Expeditions, and Courtly Nights throughout the year culminating in The Grand Gathering each November.
The majority of the events are held at the Sherwood Forest Faire or Valkyrie Ranch near Austin.

Torst Helvellyn is a guild within the context of Hynafol, but we have gatherings outside of it and are open to participating in other events.

Standing for Live Action Role-Play, LARP is a game similar to other role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons or World of Warcraft, except that players dress and act as their characters in real time.
For Hynafol this means that around 100 people for small events and over 300 people camp together and act as their character for the duration of the event.
While the main focus of Torst Helvellyn is make a Dwarven focused LARP community, we are open to other forms of Dwarven expression.
